Good - Police: KY Alleged burglar fatally shot - very loose use of the term 'Alleged'

Real Title: Police: Alleged burglar fatally shot

My Comments: Why is SF Gate (San Francisco based source) all of the sudden posting pro-gun and defense articles? Strange. Could be in their minds they think this will sway people against using firearms to defend themselves........OK, I get it. They had to grab something from KY and call it an 'alleged burglar', who had already broke and entered into a vehicle.............? They are really reaching here. They have posted several firearms defense related articles lately. Probably to 'raise awareness' about ugly guns since Gov MoonBeam has to sign a bunch of Anti 2A laws in the next week or so.

HEIDRICK, Ky. (AP) — Police say a southern Kentucky man has been fatally shot after he allegedly broke into a vehicle and was confronted by its owner and a neighbor.

I think that even if you are absolutely caught in the act, as that guy was, legally you are only an "alleged" criminal until you are found guilty in a court of law............even if you plead guilty at the arraignment.

At least that's why I think the term was used.

Thus, the alleged criminal was allegedly shot, will be allegedly buried, and will not be allegedly involved in a further crime spree...allegedly, of course.

I fully agree with Innocent Until Proven Guilty (or vice versa with the IRS, Guilty Until Proven Innocent).

I was making fun of how the SF Regressive Media is all of the sudden interested, and how they use the term 'Alleged' to sell the Anti-smell....................

Technically speaking, until the autopsy is complete, he is only "allegedly" dead. Just sayin'............

Folks outside of the two big cities in Ky tend not to hide in the house when the boogies allegedly come a callin. It allegedly takes an awful long time for LE to get to a lot of alleged crime scenes.

Person can allegedly wind up dead when acting in certain alleged manners round here.

Paraphrasing from the immortal words of Mayor of the Munchkins ...

As Mayor of the Munchkin city, in the county of the Land of Oz, I welcome you most regally.
But, we've got to verify it legally ... to see ... if he ... is morally, ethically, spiritually, physically, positively, absolutely undeniably and reliably dead.

Yup. He's not merely dead, he's most sincerely dead. So sayeth the Coroner (of the Munchkins).

    Ding Dong. 'Nuff said.

Well, he will certainly be dead after the autopsy is completed.

Since the alleged perp has expired , presumably all property has been recovered therefore the alleged crime scene is not necessarily a crime scene as no crime was successfully committed. All that remains is an autopsy to determine the poor fellows untimely cause of death and this case can be closed.

    Cool

Well ANG something I've noticed just in the last week or so is this. News stations across this country of late have been reporting CC Self Defense stories or robberies/burglaries involving a licensed CC citizen thwarting crimes in progress. As well as DA's and LEO are reading these shootings as Justifiable Shoots. In 10 or 15 different accounts I've not heard the usual Anti 2A spin the media is usually known for. In at least 2 cases citizens stepping up and engaging the BG the news people are calling these armed citizens HEROES. Shocking but true.
Firing a suppressed is on my Bucket List.

I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.

I've noticed a slight bais shift in the correct direction, however, why? Are white bread reporters now understanding what the rappidly growing Knock Out game is about, even though they will not report on it as it should be.

What is the root cause for this modest shift? Did they all the sudden realize that it is the people (crazy or criminal) that kill people with hammers, tire irons or firearms and it was not the firearm that just jumped up and did it on its own.

Has P(redacted) Morgan finally shown himself to be such a twit that they have come to their senses?

Regardless, don't forget that it is now go down town time for the Regressive Leftists to sell the UN and any Anti 2A edge they can get.

I don't know. Strange times we are in.

I can't expect a deputy or state police for at least 30 min. Only 1 or other on duty after 5 for my entire county Some time these alleged criminals don't want to wait politely to go to jail. Then these alleged criminals try to assault you and take you pistol. Then they get shot and you can add another 30 min for the EMT to arrive . Don't be a criminal in outback Ky stay in Lexington Louisville or other larger cities . Police Help will arrive sooner and your alleged crime will be come your arrested. Sheriff told me one time to call coroner then him . Will take up less time as they both will arrive about same time. .
FBI came to do a back ground check on my son for security clearance . Every place they stopped no one knew him and we got a phone call . We finely called people and told them its ok He needs this security clearance . Then they called and told us how they said he was a good boy .

Alleged is legalize. You can get your butt sued off for libel if you say someone is a robber or burglar without them being convicted.

Are you sure? - seems like a good segue to a joke:
An attorney, cross-examining the local coroner, queried, "Before you signed the death certificate had you taken the man's pulse?"
    "No," the coroner replied.
"Well, then, did you listen for a heart beat?"
    The coroner answered, "No."
"Did you check for respiration? Breathing?", asked the attorney.
    Again the coroner replied, "No."
"Ah," the attorney said, "So when you signed the death certificate you had not taken any steps to make sure the man was dead, had you?"
The coroner rolled his eyes, and shot back "Counselor, at the time I signed the death certificate the man's brain was sitting in a jar on my desk. But I can see your point. For all I know he could be out there practicing law somewhere."

If you say allegedly repeatedly, do you have to keep count to make sure you don't inadvertently reverse the meaning of your statement, like with negatives?
