Drive By Shooting Hits Close to Home

Well, this kind of stuff has finally arrived in my area.

I live about 15 miles from Eau Claire (WI). This is why we carry. One never knows where trouble is going to be. Glad nobody was hurt.

    That's a start.

Conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony ... Sounds like a real winner. It's almost time to cope with the concept of knee pads, I'd say.

In an apartment I used to live in, I saw a number of squad cars in the lot one morning. Later came to learn that some guy got mad at somebody living in the complex and opened up on their unit with a shotgun. This wasn't a dive, either, modern building in a nice quiet suburb.

Just goes to show there's no such thing as a "safe area." The unsafe people can go wherever they want.

The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished; and it would have done somewhat more, if the government had not sometimes got in its way."

We truly are in troubled times when young women are pulling this stuff. Sad.

Anywhere I can walk, anywhere I can drive, so can anyone else who can walk or drive. Felons, plotters and everyone else included. All it takes is the chutzpah to do so. One of the simple truths. Anytime, anywhere.

Not justifying the activity however no mention of kids mom. This gal has access to his cash and she really lost it. I wonder what his counseling technique was?

No place is immune anymore to this kind of thing. We had one recently and 19 people were wounded in the exchange of gunfire. Over drugs most likely, that seems to be what a lot of these things would be tied.

A few days later, my wife was nearby to this area with the Scouts at a training. As they left the church they heard the pop-pop-pop of gunfire and saw people running. She was packing her .357 magnum and they went back inside the church until it calmed down. It's getting bad and dangerous out there.

I think she could use a few years to think about what she did, and straighten herself out.

You can probably thank Title IX for that. Equal opportunity, you know.
