It is time to move. Due to back injuries I'm forced to drop my Airborne status which means I'll likely move after the first of the year.

This dude seriously needs to work on his flirting technique: "when [the victim] turned down his advances, he fired twice and drove off."

Skysolider, here's hoping your back injuries heal up.

While at Ft. Bragg, my advances were rejected a few times. I never reacted like that. Hope the sicko is caught soon or is rebuffed in a more permanent way.

"Someone dropped her off at the hospital"?

That seems strange to me. If she was shot outside a grocery store, wouldn't someone call 911 and an ambulance have taken her to the hospital?

Now you know why that region is called, "Cape Fear".

I lived there in the late 70's-early 80's (Pope AFB) and it was no better then.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

My barracks at Bragg were adjacent to one of the Pope runways. I learned to sleep with planes coming & going all night. I would blame it on you but you were there long after me(1963).
