The family of a Duson woman kidnapped earlier in the week tracked down and killed her alleged abductor Friday, authorities said.

Police said Bethany Arceneaux, 29, was kidnapped Wednesday by Scott Thomas, the father of her son. But it was family members who were tipped to an abandoned house near Anderson and Fieldspan roads.

Best story I've read in a while!!

We need more families that are willing to get done what needs doing.

I like the way you put that. Never compared the two together.

    A 9mm might expand but a .45acp never shrinks.

Well if Restraining Orders came automatically with the highest Threat Level Body Armor along with suitable firepower I'm sure the results would be much better for the initial victims and permanently retire MORE BGs.

That can't be. I was told if there was a restraining order all you had to do was hold it up and it would stop bullets, knife stikes, baseball bats, speeding cars and boulders dropped on your head.

    My bubble has been burst.

    +1 for the good guys.

That used to be the prevailing wisdom. However, around my neck O the woods, they are GENERALLY taken pretty seriously by the defendants.

You are of course correct in that someone who doesnt care about the law, or the consequences, will always do as they like.

It's a simple rule at least for me, make your peace with your God before you hurt or take any member of my family.
