Teacher shot twice and manages to subdue thugs and take weapon

The article doesn't mention the caliber, but shows that nothing short of a central nervous shot will stop a determined individual jacked on adrenaline.

I didn't see this posted elsewhere, so hope its not already linked someplace else.

    That's one tough teacher.

Hopefully the four pieces of human detritus get an attempted murder charge and are put away for the 90 years....

And this took place in a classroom. Didn't those punks know guns are not allowed in schools?

Good thing they used the handgun instead of the shotgun or things could have been way different. Honestly cant figure out why the other thug didnt use the sawed off shotgun the article says he had. But not being there who knows??

A little training would have taught the teacher not to jam an autoloader against the target or it will go out of battery. Glad he could basically beat the kids up and is doing ok.

Gee did the law (Prohibiting firearms in and around schools) work? For the crooks! What didn't work was a "victim" who just refused to lay down and die for their convenience.

Another victim-selection failure. A member of the California USA Wrestling Board of Directors? Athletic coach? That's not somebody you try to bully around.

    INTENT.

    Intent to survive.

The teacher got a couple of holes put in him. He didn't fall over and die.

He used his primary weapons, his brain and his body, to defeat armed thugs. And he did so with intent. Mindset. Chutzpah. Will. Whatever you want to call it.

    NEVER, EVER GIVE UP.

I'm so glad he survived the attack. I'm so sorry the 4 creeps did too.

I hope they go away for a very long time but I doubt they will because they are utes.
