Nice. Never know what someone would do to you after you're disabled. Sounds justified to me.

Classic case of bringing a knife (uh...stun gun) to a gun fight.

There seems to be a rash of driveway attacks recently, with several hitting the local nightly news as well. More reinforcement of my stance that your destination can be the safest place on Earth, but it's the journey that you have to be prepared for.

In the past, my wife has asked "really? you're gonna take your gun to my sister's house"? I've since shown her a few of these stories & those questions have stopped.

As I've explained to her, your sister is fine, I don't feel threatened by her at all, but it's the to and from our house & the car, to & from her house & the car, the drive itself (both directions), & any stops / errands along the way is the main concern. Car jack attempts, disabled on the side of the road, coming home to find an intruder inside the garage or house, etc. The destination, although not 100% safe as we all know, is the least of my concerns in these cases, it's the other 10 possible opportunities of misfortune to be prepared for.

So my polite answer is; "yes dear, I am taking my gun to your sister's house".

Being attacked unarmed in your driveway is the classic case of "so close, yet so far" as your firearm sits inside on your bedroom nightstand.

This guy dun good ... as even in his driveway, he was prepared.
Asked by a CNN reporter "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist"?, the Marine sniper simply shrugged & replied "recoil".

Now more than ever, we are at war on our home soil ... WAKE UP & arm our troops when they are on home soil!

I hear it all day, "ya really need that thing on/where we're going/at the store/sitting around the house/by the pool/cutting the grass/ around the bonfire"?

    Uh, yeah.

I have the reverse take that most have.

So, 5 rounds with 1 dud and 3 misses, yet the BG is pushing up daisies. Must be a very unlucky guy.
