4 Dead At California Eviction Hearing

"A woman opened fire at an eviction hearing Thursday in northern California, killing four people and critically wounding two others, authorities said. After the suspect ran out of bullets, she picked up a butcher knife and stabbed one of the victims"

I can't recall seeing any instances of a criminal displaying such bloodthirsty determination. Pretty scary stuff.

Try this: 4 Killed, 2 Wounded at California Eviction Hearing - NBC News

or this: UPDATED: Police: Alturas shooter was former rancheria chairwoman » Redding Record Searchlight

Crazy stuff with more questions than answers. I expect we'll hear more as the investigation goes forward.

Well you have to realize this was on tribal land so you are probably not looking at a full blown courthouse type thing. In the second article linked above it looks like a double wide mobile home serves as the tribal offices combined.

And if everyone were armed to the teeth and not criminalized for it, imagine how much quicker that murderer could likely have been stopped.

Where I practice, (middle TN), we often have NO metal detectors in the ct houses. Its a county by county thing. Some do, some dont.

Its a disaster waiting to happen. Of course, I cant carry in a ct house when ct is going on.

She's bummed about being evicted. Believes six dead will rectify the situation. She must have missed the memos on manners, civility, honor, logic and the effectiveness of the penal system. She's about to get them all.
