    Hartford: Bad

    Hartford Courant

Licensed carrier involved in crowd shooting.

"Dayron Wills, 22, of 300 Tresser Boulevard, admitted he was involved in the altercation.

Stamford's Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded and recovered video evidence which shows Wills firing his weapon "into a crowd and towards the crowded downtown are, thus striking five innocent persons," police said.

Police said Wills does have a valid pistol permit and was legally registered to carry the weapon."

What a rumpswab...........Moron.... worthless ....more duel for the Anti's fires
Will be interesting to find out the Ethnic Background on all of the ones involved... So convienient of the shooter to drop the gun off at the intersection too. At least he had the "smarts" to put it loosly, to admit it was his gun.

It would have been better if he had shot himself in the butt that way he could claim brain injury.

Apparent mixture of guns drugs possible alcohol and definite idiocy. Recipe for disaster if ever there was one.

    so much I could say

I live not far from the 'action' and know the area

but I do not wish to upset the mods nor violate forum rules
cause facts now a days often are construed as racist

    ----------
perplexing is that he had a permit yet still took it into a bar ( liquor serving night clubs are generally a no-no in Ct)
    and than used it...
    and than tossed it...
--> buys it legally yet is shocked that the LEO can trace it to him
    Arthritis sucks big-big
    -------------------
Why do those elected to positions of power than work so hard
to deny those same opportunities to the same people who empowered them

Again, don't accept the nonsense that this guy reflects on cc'ers in general. That's exactly what the antis want people to assume. This isn't "fuel for the fire" except for those who are burning BS.

Im not sure that everyone knows it, but there is a video of the shooting/shooter that is pretty darn good in the link posted by the OP.

I was a little surprised seeing it. The shooter appeared to be going after one guy, and looked like he might have actually been to the range a time or two.

Given the setting, and crowd, it was interesting to see.

Actually took place in Stamford, about 75 miles away. The Courant, located in Hartford is the state's big newspaper.

Well, talk about stupid. He gets an "A" in that class.

    Don't carry and drink

    Don't carry and do drugs

    Don't do stupid stuff.

Guess he's batting a thousand on this one.

You're right StormRhyder, it looked like he was definitely familiar with his gun. Good thing he wasn't too good a shoot. Guess drugs and alcohol helped them. Heard it on the news today and each time they mentioned it, they had to be sure to state he had his CCW.

Wonderful world we live in. Be safe people.

This is the flip-side of the drastic increase in Concealed Carry Permits that we have seen across the Nation. With no practical handgun experience, they just fill out the paperwork, pay the clerk and walk out to become "stupid people who do stupid things!"

I agree. When I read nightclub and shooting I know a lot of stupidity happened.
Pain is the best teacher, but nobody wants to go to his class.

When the past smothers the present, there is only desperation. When the future absorbs the present, life stands still. In either case a decision must be made because you only live now and you are only what you are now.
