Dallas police continued Thursday to investigate a home invasion and robbery that led to the shooting of two suspects.

Three people were in an apartment in the 6800 block of Skillman Street around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, when two men entered, police said.

One of the apartment occupants handed a handgun to another occupant, who shot the two intruders.

Both suspects were taken to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. One of the suspects, Roy Anthony Saldana, 20, was listed in serious condition.

The two men were face charges of aggravated robbery, police said.

Curious that one occupant hands the gun to the other. It makes it sound like there was time to contemplate who was going to get to shoot the BGs. "Here, it's your turn. I shot the last ones."

I found that odd also. Makes you wonder if the shooter was not suppose to be in possesion of a gun? Who knows, but at least the BG will think twice before trying it again.

The BG put themselves there and they got what they deserved.

maybe the person who handed off the gun was either not trained in how to use the gun or unable to squeeze the trigger on a human being. All while being situated in the best position to retrieve the firearm.

Sounds to me like they already knew those guys were coming over there. I don't doubt the guys coming into the house were BG's but the guys in the house could have been BG's as well. Something's telling me drugs or money are involved. (note I didn't read the link)
