Yeah... so what? I guess the implied statement is--Missouri should have a tracking system...what kind of socialist cr@p is that? The default "system" should be 911 or a police report after the BG is down.

That sounds about as clean as it gets. Unfortunately, he let himself get on the wrong end of a gun, but his first priority was retaining his weapon and preserving his life.
This also points out that even if you cooperate and empty your pockets, the BG will probably shoot you anyway, just cause he feels tough and has no respect for your life.
But I'll bet he felt really dumb when he turned to cap the the "helpless victim" he just robbed, and sees the guy pull a real version of his own fake gun and shoot him with it. :buttkick:
I hope I never get robbed, but if I do I hope they do it with a pellet gun.
Given that the intended victim was carrying a .45 and fired seven shots, I'd have to guess he was carrying a 1911 and emptied it. I wonder if he was carrying an extra mag? If not, I wonder if he does now?
It has to be a pretty scary feeling using all your ammo driving off a robber and wondering if he or his friends are going to come back! :eek5:
Great job!
Wonderful ending, however practice practice practice so hands know what to do and brain can stay engaged when swamped with
adrenalin.
heh.. stupid criminals.. never bring (and threaten one with) a toy to a gun fight..
when I was in high school, I worked at a gas station. I was robbed by a robber who used a squirt gun. He didnt get anything, I knew it was a water gun.
The funny part is, I went to school with the robber. He was the only black kid in my class so he was easy to ID.
So, yes, a lot of criminals are stupid but not all.
The scumbag violated the first rule of gunfighting: "Bring a (real) gun." Too bad he was not at least kneecapped.
Don't you just love it when scumbags get their reward ?? As for the"toy gun" thing, a pellet gun can be very deadly at close range.
Very good job on the permit holders end.
Not so good on the scum bags end.
Our side +1....scum bags -1.
Everything is as it should be.:duh:
awesome. though the tightwad in me would follow a bit to see if i could get my stuff back. i can move forward and put that second mag in with little problem..
If anyone ever starts a .177 vs .45 caliber thread, at least we have one incident for comparison. I keep thinking of A Christmas Story, when Santa tells Ralphy "You'll shoot your eye out kid", for some reason.
The perps are just starting to learn the consequences of the CCW we got just a few years ago, there have been several defensive shooting in the past couple years.
As to the 7 shots=2 peripheral hits.......word is he was a doggie (army) from Fort "Lost in the Woods"
