Had the hoodie died, it wouldn't surprise me in the least that the clerk would get arrested and tried for some dung-laden excuse for charges, like aggravated assault, or some twisted civilian version of cruel & unusual punishment. Though, the BG should count his stars he's alive. One well-placed touch with a bat can kill, just as with a firearm.
Kudos to the GG for surviving a deadly assault.
