8MOs preggers and grabbing a shotgun instead of calling 911 from the car? I'll give her a pat on the back but it could've been ugly for her and mom-in-law. Especially since she apparantly handed over the gun while he was still a threat, and he was allowed to approach them without being shot. Guts though.

Yea, sounds like it was a bad situation for everyone involved in both shootings. However, no good guys were hurt!
