Arrived on scene to find a young male in his late teens with lots of nasty looking abrasions and lacerations on his scalp and face. Mall security and several police cars were on the scene as well.

The young man was in handcuffs, and being quite belligerent. Lots of profanity, telling everyone there he was going to beat our butts (not his term) when he got out of the cuffs, etc.

Also in the scene, seated in the front seat of a city police car, was a woman in her late 60s, with a couple of abrasions on her elbows.

Seems the esteemed citizen in the cuffs was waiting under her car, and when she came to open the door, he tried to yank her legs out from under her, steal her purse and run away.

I guess one out of three ain't bad.

He pulled her off balance, and grabbed her purse. It had rained a bit earlier, so she had her collapsable umbrella in her hand, along with the purse. He yanked the purse out of her hand, but the umbrella was retained via the wrist strap.

She then commenced to beat six kinds of snot out of the charming young man with the umbrella. She beat him to the point that the umbrella was in tatters, with little bits of sharp metal (the ribs of the umbrella canopy) sticking out of it like a pincushion. Hence the wide variety of lacerations about his head.

While we are trying to bandage his various leaks, he is telling us how he is going to come get us when he gets out of the hospital, etc. At this point, one of the city PD supervisors leans in and advises him that "look, punk, you just got whipped by a 60 year old woman. Nobody here is afraid of you."

He got all pouty and looked like he was going to cry.
Didn't say a word all the way to the hospital.

BWAHAHAHA that will look good on his arrest report, Dog Snot beat out of him by a old woman! Yeah that will follow him for a very long time, N the first story was great too, hope the city gave her a Award for offing a murder before she passed.

That is a great one. Sounds like that thug will think twice about attacking old women...if he values his health. You are sooo right...EMS....just when you think you have seen it all....along comes something new.

He should have to get a forehead tattoo that says, "Can't beat up a 60-year-old woman."
