Good luck to him with whatever he has to deal with now (Pizza Delivery Guy). Sounds like he did a good job within the laws to me.

It's not over yet. Hopefully he makes it through the wringer okay. Looks like he was jumped by a gang ... and he's still standing. That's the desired outcome, no matter the cost to the BG.

"Police are still investigating, but here's what we've learned. The pizza delivery man claims self defense and is in protective custody."

Never heard of the police holding a person who the prosecutor says will not be charged in "protective custody." Is he in jail or what?

If it was gang related, he may need protective custody. Witnesses are sometimes held in protective custody too. Hope the delivery guy can get on with his life soon.

He deliverred for Little Ceaser's. Since it is a national chain it is almost certain they have a no carry policy meaning he will be fired. It has happenned before with pizza guys and wil happen again. I deliverred for a mom and pop place in Florida where the owner kept a Browning High Power handy and they had no problem with ny gun.

Living is more important that a continued career deliverring pizza. He made the right choice.

It's a dangerous job, and the big companies think their drivers are expendable!

    Pizza Guys are great!

It was a Pizza Delivery guy in the late 1960's named Rich Davis who survived a shoot-out with 3 thugs while delivering pizza's who later in 1971 developed soft concealable body armor and the company known as Second Chance! By 1975 Body Armor was starting to take the LE communty by storm thanks to Rich Davis (a former marine!)

Who knows what this guy from Michigan may someday go on to invent!

    Good Job, Pizza Guy!

I would like a large pepperoni, and a box of .45 ACP.
