Do they always have to add this line. This guy should be given a metal for Pete's sake, not wait to hear if some pin-head DA is going to try and make a name for himself at his expense. Just once I would like to read that the carry holder was thanked by everyone in the place and will be given a good citizens award by the chief and mayor.

Two on one, the BGs have already gone hands on, and the GG manages to draw and score disabling hits on both BGs... That's pretty impressive - I don't care who you are.

I wonder if it looked like Vincent vs. the briefcase thieves in Collateral...
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

That's the first thing that sprung to my mind as well. They clearly were not expecting him to be armed, and were probably caught totally off-guard when he didn't immediately cower in the corner waiting to be shot.

Good job refusing to be a victim. He didn't try to "Rambo" things, but he protected his life. I hope there are no further repercussions waiting for him.

Good for the victim. IMHO, being herded into a back room, freezer, bathroom, etc is a clear indicator of the intent of the perp to kill you.

Hopefully, there will be no criminal charges for him, and an extensive prison term for the surviving robber.

The only way this could have ended better would be with both scumbags on the Coroner's slab.

If this happens frequently enough the BG will think twice about robbing people. The more ccw permits the better. There are too many cases where the BG ends up murdering the employees for no reason.

    Edit:

A friend of mine here in NC sent this to me, but it was actually in Florida.
