When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

The people who write news articles nowadays are incompetent.
This statement is ambiguous as written: you could conclude that the homeowner was breaking into the man's home when he shot the man.

This sentence needed to be written, "A 65-year-old Orange County homeowner shot a man late Friday as the man was breaking into his home..."

But the reporters coming up nowadays were born in like 1980-85 or so, and don't have a clue. They came up through school after the administrations began throwing diplomas at anyone with enough brain cells to enable them to catch one. Didn't have to have learned anything in the school. Probably didn't even have to really attend.

    I work in a school...
Sometimes a student CAN'T catch one, and the diploma actually has to be taped to a grad's forehead...then the student can use both hands to follow the rope to get across the stage without getting lost......then, MOST of them can make it!
