my wife just went to that store this last weekend while we were at the lake. She said when she came back that the store owner gave my daughter a quarter to get a piece of candy out of the machine, and that he was a really nice man.
Good for him.

The police investigators have found, apparently, that the two knew each other and were having a bit of a row over an extortion scheme they were running. Few other details. Oops. Attempted murder charges have now been leveled against the store owner.
