The mere fact we're all talking about it and that it's being plastered over discussion boards everywhere is a solid indication his actions were on (or over) the edge. An otherwise garden-variety thwarting of a crime has instead turned into an evaluation of his apparent blood lust and firing on a fleeing felon. Of course, this is from a news story, however accurate it is. All in all, it's a good reminder for us all to keep the "light" turned on when defending ourselves.

In Fla. The shooter would be in a world of legal hurt. The perp was fleeing and no longer a threat of death or serious bodily harm.

Maybe he should have just quietly informed the BG of his intentions of shooting him and then shot the S.O.B.. One less P.O.S. walking the streets.

Did he shoot at the BG, or just the Car?
I wear a seatbelt, but I hope to never need it, I use smoke detectors in my house, but I hope to never need them, I carry life insurance, but I hope to never need it, I carry a weapon, but I hope to never need it.
