This is the 2nd time this year a man has been shot with a shotgun by a woman.
A few nights ago some guy try to rob a gas station here in Pensacola, but he was met with a female clerk and a "assault rifle." I didn't say what kind of gun it was, but I'm betting an AK.

The would-be intruder was just released the day before on a charge of domestic battery, according to the comments on that article.
If she had not been prepared to defend herself, I suspect we'd be reading a much different article....

Correction: I love it when the innocent survive. It's just that, with fair frequency, it requires shooting a violent criminal dead in order to get the SOB to stop his threatening behavior.We love it when criminals get shot around here...
The really sad part is the ones who have been shot, done time, go right back out there and start over. Getting shot doesn't change anything for the ones that live. Talking to prisoners that have just been informed that a family member was just shot and killed will too often get the response, "stuff happens."
