Good story, but boy does that station need a proof reader.

Lord, Grant me a good sword and no need to use it.
Definately need a proof reader.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

That man was my third uncles cousins brothers neighbor and he was a good man! You should all be ashamed.. :)

I wonder where the store owner's gun was the first time around? I guess that's when he learned his lesson and prepared for the next time; he must have been new to defensive carry since he used a plastic bag instead of a holster.
Gotta love the last sentence on that article. They are checking with the solicitors office to see if charges would be filed. What's up with that?

Good on him!
"I could smell the power from the gun," she said.
Must have been some powerfull guns used if she could still smell the power minutes later.
The robber dove to the floor, jumped up, and ran away. Deputies were unable to locate him.
Thursday morning, a passerby found a body about 100 yards from the store.
Deputies said that based on Desai's description of the robber, they believe it is the same man. The man has been identified as Rodrickus Fonte Sullivan of Greer.
Greenville County sheriff's Lt. Shea Smith said, "The clothing matches. We did find a firearm around the person. So, it appears that this will be the suspect that robbed the store last night."
It appears? What, are they always finding dead bodies laying around in this neiborhood?
Now the weapon found next to the body and Desai's gun are evidence, as well as the surveillance tape of the robbery.
Lt. Shea Smith said, "State law allows you to use up to deadly force if you feel like your life is in danger. The sheriff's office will work with the solicitor's office in the coming days to determine if charges will be filed."
Now this is sickening. Let's leave the guy defenseless now after what he's been through. It's going to be real hard to figure this one out.![]()
