    November 13, 2007

    The Roanoke Police Department has made an arrest of a suspect injured during a home invasion. Officers responded on November 12, 2007 at 9:18 p.m. to a residence on Palm Avenue. Upon arrival officers found a resident of the home detaining the suspect. The resident stated that he stabbed the suspect after the suspect entered the home, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. Evidence collected during this home invasion connects the suspect to a home invasion which occurred on November 6, 2007 on Marr Street. The suspect was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he is in police custody. Due to a lack of cooperation from the suspect, detectives are in the process of confirming his identity. The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending.
