Cheers for the GG! The BG's got what they deserved. It's a shame that some folks (the BG's) don't have the common sense they were born with.

    Safe and sane shooting everyone,

Good on the GOOD guy!! He's the victim and I hope everything is good for him! He did a great job doing what he was supposed to do and helped us all. Hope his and his family's Christmas is a blessed one.

Having his CCW permit and weapon may have saved his own life. Not a situation anyone would like to be in, but he was able to defend EVERYONE should be able to all 50 states.

Fearing for his life, Labidou reached for a gun and started firing at the two men. Police said he fired a total of seven shots and had a permit for his gun. Both Lonzisero and Borrowsky were hit twice. Borrowsky was struck in the leg and in the back. Lonzisero was struck in the arm and leg.

Not related to the GG but to the BG that survived. He will be charged with murder for the death of his buddy. If you commit a felony that results in the death of somebody even if it was not your intention, the State of Florida tacks a charge of murder on your butt.
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Nope not the Horn case or I believe Ohio either, this happened while I was on the road back in I believe October. Short version was guy in house BG in yard threatening he used a 12ga and killed both and they both had heavy criminal records and the shooting was dismissed by the Prosecutor as justifiable.

Which is the only real similarity here, one guy against two BG's and kills them both and the shooting is ruled justifiable. Just is in that story the race card was reversed.

Well, as usual, and all apologies to John Cleese: "The plumage don't enter into it!"

It's a shame when race is brought into a situation where it has no place, especially for political or 'grandstanding' purposes. However, the sad fact is that there are still racially motivated (or aggravated) crimes out there, and the possibility should be investigated if it will have a material affect on the "verdict." If race isn’t a factor (as I believe it is not in the vast majority of cases), then it shouldn’t be a part of the discussion.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

I regret that anyone ever has to die or get hurt but, I confess: I'm happy to see an example of a responsible black gun owner in the media. This is another example of how our 2nd amendment rights protect us all.
