The facts are indisputable. There is more data supporting the benefits of Conceal Carry than there is supporting global warming. If you choose ignorance, in light of all the evidence, in order to bolster your irrational fear of guns, you are a greater threat to society than any gun owner.

HaHa, beautiful. Funny with one serious lesson for those who pack .22's: Abandon the whole "head shots only" thing, because the .22 just ain't gonna put'em down.

Keep in mind that it was OLD ammo. The .22 should be the last round to use for self defense, but if you have to use it, use good ammo. I'll bet he wasn't using Velocitors or Stingers. There are many, many people dead because of the .22LR. I sometimes use my P22 as a BUG (until I get my 9mm PPS;). His shot placement was, I think, right where I'd want it. But I would have shot more than once, I'm thinking the whole mag.
Gun control can be blamed in part for allowing 9/11 to happen.
