Court Martial for defending home! (amusing)

Retired Army Green Beret Smokey Taylor was court martialed for shooting a home invader. The charge? Failing to use a weapon of sufficient caliber. Great story...

    That's great...

Note to self... keep the p22 farther from the CW9 so as not to grab the wrong gun and face court-martial.

That was great! The funniest part is the kid soiling his pants while crawling out of the house.

its quite amusing. but even with a .22 he coulda saved everyone alot of money with better shot placement.

That is amazing, I am going to hang that up in my "place of work" as it were - where I hang my hat most times. The gang there is gonna love reading this...

I just wish it was from an accredited news source instead of a blog, I wonder if its ground truth or not?

HaHa, beautiful. Funny with one serious lesson for those who pack .22's: Abandon the whole "head shots only" thing, because the .22 just ain't gonna put'em down.

With a 22 maybe he should have double tapped him.

Keep in mind that it was OLD ammo. The .22 should be the last round to use for self defense, but if you have to use it, use good ammo. I'll bet he wasn't using Velocitors or Stingers. There are many, many people dead because of the .22LR. I sometimes use my P22 as a BUG (until I get my 9mm PPS;). His shot placement was, I think, right where I'd want it. But I would have shot more than once, I'm thinking the whole mag.
Gun control can be blamed in part for allowing 9/11 to happen.
