Wheel-Chair Bound Man Shoots Attacker
Good for the homeowner.
A homeowner who is confined to a wheelchair shot and wounded a man who confronted him on his door step, Atlanta police told 11Alive News.
The homeowner was on his way out of his house on Flat Shoals Avenue Friday morning when he ran into a man at his door. The homeowner asked the man to leave, but the man started to assault the homeowner, authorities said.
During a struggle, the homeowner grabbed a gun and shot the attacker in the arm and chest.
The suspect was taken to the hospital. His condition was not known.
The homeowner was not injured.

My best friend and sometimes business partner happens to ride a chair . I for one will tell you it is no handicap to either a defensive mindset or in any common scenario a defensive ability . Jess just gets the gunfight over fast so he gets shot less . ( yes that is speaking from fact ) . CCW while in a chair is a whole nother subject that is both interesting and varied as to " what , where , when , and how " LOL .

One of the guys I work with on a regular basis is confined to a wheelchair, although he has a nice motorized one. He always wears a fanny pack. I've never really contemplated it before, but I'll bet you he's packing :)
Good for the homeowner - almost wish he would have given the guy a little more than a grazing shot to the hip.
