Hmm. Really can't make a call on this one from sitting on the sidelines here. Depends upon who is telling the truth. Problem is the truth is usually somewhere in between both stories.

Oh boy not good either way. If they had tools or stolen copper in the truck would support one story. If the guys were in suits and ties and had business cards that say "real estate agents" whole diffrent story. I know I am new to DC and carrying in general but who keeps an assault rifle stored beneath a table "outside" his house ?

    Icky, stupid.

Wonder if he called 911 before he blocked the road, or was going to wait until he had them in custody?

Assualt rifle? I doubt it, probably a lookalike AK or AR or even a Ruger Ranch rifle or mini 30. Looking for real estate? I doubt that too. 8PM in the dark, on private property. As likely as searching for bigfoot or the easter bunny! Did the owner over react? Probably. Were the 3 in the vehicle innocent? Highly doubtful. Murder? It would be hard to call, I think the outcome will hinge on what instructions the jury are given? Can they find him guilty of a lesser charge or is it murder or nothing?

My guess is murder charges might get dropped to manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon.
