I would be willing to bet it's a gang-related initiation scheme...

    Pretty hard to defend against...

    Nasty situation...

    Stay armed...stay alert...stay out of CA...stay safe!

Really this is one of those worst case scenarios (Right up there w/the gang of Motorcycycle thugs that was brought up here a few months ago in St. Louis) . There aren't a whole lot of options. We all know how well those cars protect you vs bullets.

But I thought California had gun control laws.
That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

They just need to put bigger sign's up stating "GUN FREE AREA"...that will do the picture, make it from natural materials and of course, bi-lingual. Braille wouldn't hurt, either. Bigger signs will work...and harsher laws...always time for more laws.

    Rats in a cage.

Even if the drive-up had some motivation based on a twisted, criminal sense of honor (such as knowing the victim to be of a rival gang or some other twaddle), it takes a cold fish to kill a person like that.

Yep, and should be hangin' at the end of a stringer.

Car-to-car shootings are not uncommon in the area, Detective Baitx said.

I grew up in LA, the area south of LAX is terrible. Normal people shouldn't go there. This is only a stone's throw from where the riots were.

back before the wheelchair days I used to ride my motorcycle from phoenix through san diego up to home in camino (near tahoe, about 1000 miles on a 250ninja) I took the wrong exit in south la once. I violated every law on the books for motor vehicles that day. The one that sticks out is at a stop light seeing 6 people all in the same manor of dress stand up at the same time from the corner that they were sitting and walk towards me.

Let me tell you I miss phoenix, as crime ridden as it was, you could ride down the freeway with gun on hip and not worry.
To those that paid for my freedom,

As with all statements I've made and All that I will make, please check your local laws to verify accuracy. (and if i'm wrong let me know as I like to be right in the future) After all I'm just some goofball posting on an internet forum.
