I just wanted to say "Thanks" to CT-Mike for finding and posting all of these stories.

I know I read somewhere on here that cruising the net is part of his job, but to put the effort into filtering them and posting them here...

    Thanks!

Hey no problem. I enjoy reading these types of stories because there is always something to learn from them. If it helps others then that is a bonus.

OK, everyone... a little trade secret. You can setup email alerts from Google (and others), that send you email whenever something that meets your conditions comes in. For example, I have an email filter with Google, that sends me an email everytime one or more of these words is in a news story: "Home", "Invasion", "Robbery", "Shooting". You get the idea.

That said, thanks to CT-Mike for really staying on top of these items. Even though it's depressing, it's sobering to read these stories, and makes me glad that at least I have a way of protecting myself and my family.

    Keep up the good work!
