PAHOKEE - A 22-year-old man shot in the leg near a nightclub on Sunday morning refused to help investigators
track down the shooter, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.
Tamichael Boldin was found leaning against a white Mitsubishi Galant, investigators said. He was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center
in West Palm Beach. His injury was not life threatening.
He was among the people gathered in the area of the 400 block of Rardin Ave after Club 57 on Muck City Road closed, the Sheriff's Office said. Around 2 a.m., deputies patrolling in the area heard several gunshots. They found Boldin suffering from a single gunshot wound to the right leg above the knee. Later, he was not willing to provide information on the suspect
, investigators said.
The Palm Beach County Violent Crimes Task Force, which often handles drug- and gang-related shootings and robberies, is handling the case.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on the case to call 561-688-4000 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-458-8477.
