Weird: Man Claims Self-Defense, Accused Of Murder

I didn't put this in good/bad, as the case is just "weird". At first sight, this is a clear home-invasion: Guy shoots burglar. But later, it turned out that the "burglar" may be the guys drug dealer, who was shot to hide the fact from a girl friend.

I think the cops can prove he set this guy up to be killed, his own admission is while he lay on the ground he was still breathing so he shot him again, that is murder, even in a good SD shooting once the threat is over you cannot finish the guy off with a kill shot or you will very likely be sitting at a place called the defendants table

"...Wright said that when he found the man was still breathing, he shot him a fourth time."

That's clearly not a self-defense scenario. He was already shot three times, and down. Seems to me he's looking at a murder charge, since there was no direct threat of bodily injury at the time he took the fourth shot.

Sounds like a good candidate for lethal injection. All information point to premeditated murder.

Funnily enough it has been the bad guys up here that have help strenghten the case of shooting in self defense. A murder charge was dropped as the judge found that BG1 was justified in fearing for his life and shooting BG2, BG1 still faced lots of other charges.
