Definitely could have been worse but Thank GOD someone was there to put quick ending to it before he reloaded and proceeded to kill more innocent people. Glad NV gives us the freedom to protect ourselves.

I have to agree 100%. Even my CHL Instructor claimed he carried in a bar here in Texas... he said he forgot he was carrying at the time because he just doens't realize it's there anymore. But here in Texas, cops are allowed to enter the bars and 'hang out', not usre in other states but I know it's not the case in NYC. Can't wait until I get my CHL.Originally Posted by AZ Husker

Respect to the Reno Gazette-Journal for telling it straight without an agenda.
Good job by the police in placing blame where it belongs (in many parts of the country, both police and press would have this incident chalked up to the influx of "bikers").
Good on Nevada for allowing CC in bars, something relatively few States allow.

This article just makes it even for the Reno Gazette -Journal. They absolutely ripped a veteran who removed a Mexican flag which was being flown above the American flag outside a Mexican restaurant in Reno a few years ago.
An armed populace are called citizens.
An unarmed populace are called subjects.

Interesting part about this story is that the two victims who died were not 21.
In the places where I have lived entering a bar at that hour requires positive identification just to get through the door nevermind coming in to order anything beyond water and soda.
This may wind up on a tangent hurting the bar keep in a serious way.

Yes it is legal to carry in a bar in NV and your alcohol limit has to be under .10.
