Police: Two Brothers Shoot Same Man 5 Years Apart
This is just crazy. 3 times in twelve years.
A 21-year-old Buffalo, New York man has been charged with the attempted murder of a paraplegic shot by the suspect's brother five years ago.
According to the Buffalo News, Ronnie Austin is accused of shooting Jamal Watts, 21, twice in the chest while he sat in his wheelchair Sunday afternoon.
It was Austinís brother who put Watts in a wheelchair to begin with, when Jarmell Austin shot Watts in 2003, the Buffalo News reported. That shooting left Watts a paraplegic and earned Jarmell a 25-year prison sentence, the paper added.
Sunday's incident was actually the third time Watts has been shot in the past 12 years.
He was initially listed in critical condition at Erie County Medical Center but has since been upgraded to fair.
Police said they also charged Ronnie Austin with criminal possession of a weapon, as he was carrying the gun used to shoot Watts when they arrested him Tuesday, according to the Buffalo News.

I just don't understand some things. Is it really worth try to kill somone who is already a paraplegic, regardless of what the guy did previously if anything.
I mean that is like the folks that go to the petting zoo game ranches and shoot their trophy bucks. Who the hell are going to brag to or who is going to give you respect for that.
Some people never cease to amaze me.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

That guy has been hit more times than some targets at the gun range

Some people just have bad luck, but I'm going to venture a guess that this isn't just an innocent in the wrong place. Perhaps he stirs up trouble???
I've known people that always "seem to get dragged into bad things or bad luck". A lot of times it's not coincidence. They just have a good "innocent routine", after the fact.

I don't think bad luck has anything to do with him being shot 3 times in 12 years. It's time that Mr. Watts changes who he hangs around with. It appears that the first time he was shot he was 9 and now he is 21. I hate to say it but his chances of making 30 do not sound good.

I used to live in a very bad part of Buffalo. It's the kind of place that you don't come to a complete stop at the stop signs, and even run some red lights when you see the mobs of dirtbags approaching your car.
One night my neighbors were shot and killed in their house and I didn't even hear a thing. I heard about it on the news the next day.
I think I also shared the story (in the pizza hut thread) about the pizza guy getting beat to death around there.
That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

Steve Martin in 'The Jerk' yelling "there's something wrong with these cans! He HATES these CANS!" as some guy trying to shoot him shoots the oil cans instead.

time to change lifestyles. I'm in a chair, I don't hang around the same people I used to. I can't defend myself as effectively and I sure as heck cant dive for cover....

There is no sound reason, but they just don't think the same as you or me.
