I saw this watching the news last night, those creeps deserve anything they get. Hopefully they meet up with some of Sheriff Joe's boys.

How much you want to bet the scum is a repeat offender, with a history of incarceration and release.

Catch-and-release should not apply to criminals. Kill what we catch and use every part of the dead animal. As fertilizer.

These people rear-ended the victims. It was their fault. But this has nothing to do with their actions. They are obviously severely impaired by either genetics, culture, (I don't believe medical problems) substance abuse or all of the above.

The story cited below has more information than first reports:

Police ID grandmother of road-rage killing

by Lily Leung and JJ Hensley - Jun. 9, 2008 11:37 AM
    The Arizona Republic

Phoenix police identified Elvina Legarde, 69, as the grandmother gunned down in a road rage incident in west Phoenix Sunday afternoon.

Legarde's 4-year-old granddaughter, who sat in the backseat was also shot in the incident, but she is in stable condition at the hospital, said Detective Stacie Derge, a Phoenix police spokeswoman.

Legarde, who was in the front passenger seat of a maroon Dodge Durango, was shot in the upper body during a confrontation that stemmed from a minor traffic accident.

Phoenix police are still searching for suspects and are asking the public for help to find a couple in an older model, white Ford Escort who reportedly opened fire on the five victims - two adults, three children - in the Dodge Durango.

The driver of the Ford Escort, who is reportedly pregnant, is described as a 21-year-old woman, while the passenger, who was the alleged shooter, is described to be a 26-year-old man, wearing a gray T-shirt.

The events unraveled when a Ford Escort rear-ended a Dodge Durango that was going northbound on 19th Avenue at Bethany Home Road, Derge said.

Witnesses said the driver of the Durango, a 33-year-old woman, got out of the vehicle, and the two occupants of the Escort began yelling at her. The driver returned to the Durango to leave, but shortly after, the driver saw the Escort behind her again.

The 26-year-old passenger of the Escort then shot multiple times from his window about noon at the Durango near Ocotillo Road and 21st Avenue, police said. That's when Legarde and her 4-year-old granddaughter were shot.

The driver of the Durango then continued northbound on 21st Avenue and turned at Glendale Avenue, where she stopped for help.

Derge said the Escort was last seen east on Ocotillo Road or Lawrence Lane from 21st Avenue.

The 33-year-old female driver of the Durango was uninjured and the rest of the children, ages 2 and 7, in the backseat were also not injured.

At the time of the collision, when the occupants were yelling at the victim, the driver of the Ford Escort said that she was pregnant.

"We do not know how pregnant she may be," Derge said. "We are not sure exactly what kind of gun was used."

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-testIGO. If anyone sees a couple in an older white Ford Escort fitting the suspect's descriptions they should call 911.

How much you want to bet that the offenders are not U.S. citizens?
