Not the best article ever written. Not putting a good light on gun owners.
There ought to be a law against publishing the names of these people, especially the victims of a crime, including the address. Publish the name and address of the BG instead.

The one ladys comment about hanging her target showing head shots on her door as a deterrent can backfire,It lets the perp know you have a gun in the house and they may break in when your gone to steal the gun if you don't carry it on you.I don't think one incident should have to wake people up to the fact you can be picked out to be a victim of a violent crime for no apparent reason other than you happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time
