Saw this video on LiveLeak today and I gotta say, it's an amazing video. It's a serious must watch. The way the cop handled himself in the situation is amazing. You could tell he was nervous, but he handled himself correctly and used his wit. And not to spoil anything, but the part where one of the BG's is right up in front of him like that.....wow. Kudos to the cop in this video!

Great job and cool head.

He handled that pretty well. The only thing I saw that he did wrong, was to leave the gun in the hand of the one he shot and turn his back to him. Other than that, great job.
WOW, that was amazing. I think all the good guys in that store had someone looking out for them that day. Good thing for the cop the first BG didn't have his booger hook on the trigger.
"Run for your life from the man who tells you that money is evil. That sentence is the leper's bell of an approaching looter. So long as men live together on earth and need means to deal with one another-their only substitute, if they abandon money, is the muzzle of a gun."
Who is John Galt?
That could've been much worse. Good job.

Wow! Amazing stuff. I'm not certain I could be that together with a gun to my head..........
One man with a gun can control 100 without one.

He did a fantastic job!
I have see this on Crisis Point and it's hard for me to tell what parts are actual footage or a recreation of the events. I did notice at 3:58 when the BG had the pistol in the officers face his trigger finger was on the slide... it seems to me the bad guy or actor had some type of handgun training. I would think a thug would have had his finger on the trigger in this situation.
Thank god he didn't!!!
He did ok. I too saw that mistake when he turned his back to the BG with gun still in hand I can't believe he didn't pack something better then a revolver?!? I would have been packing a Glock 21 and a shotty in the back Glad it worked out

I think he acted like a pro.
Sure, he might did some minor errors if you should go by the text book. Like not taking cover behind a tree while shooting at the car etc. HOWEVER, this was a real situation, not a drill or a shooting range exercise.
He faced 3 BGs and after killing the first one, he gets shot at. He then enters the store from his room and sees a BG running in front of him. He follows him with his gun, but don't see a weapon and he doesn't consider him a threat so he holds his fire, VERY PROFESSIONAL. He then exits the store and take some more fire. He acts very calm, gets down on one knee and return fire. He is VERY controlled throughout the whole incident.
I think he should be proud of his actions.
Ok, not perfect, but that guy can cover my back side anytime!

But am I the only one who thinks the scene in the office looked fake? The robber moved his gun away from the cop and kinda doubled over like he was acting before he was actually shot. (Internet skepticism overload)
