Wow... just wow. This gives a bad name to gun owners. I'm willing to bet that guy owned his gun legally too, he just couldn't control his temper.

I have a friend with a neighbor that at one time was a good easy going guy, friendly helpful....

Now 15 years later his wife is gone, and his attitude is just like that guys. My friend just plain goes out of his way to avoid a confrontation.

Unfortunately some people just get well strange as they age, some form of Alzheimer's maybe but these people can be serious a threat to anyone that crosses their path, and the only way to treat them is as though you are arguing with a drunk.

AKA they are never wrong, they are smarter than the rest of the world, and just nod your head in agreement with what they say and leave post haste is the only way to get along with them.

Avoidance training and just plain experience has taught me a lot of stuff about this kind of individual and I pray I never turn into one of these people due to the hard knocks life hands me.

It is one sided one thing that they can check is how far away was the shot fired from if it was almost point blank range that could indicate self defense as the guy got shot may of been attacking,if he was in his truck why didn't he keep driving sounds like he decided to be confrontational

it very well could have been the hot head attacking the and other guy deffending and losing

then again after so many shootings you tend to hear people say "he was such a quiet guy that kept to himself". sometimes the hotheads are the safer of the two because they let the anger out, they don't bottle it up. sometimes the quiet guy just can't take it anymore and snaps.

only the guy that lived really knows the truth, strap him to a lie detector :)
