The deli owner who fired at an armed robber Tuesday makes no apologies for his actions and says he had no choice.
“Once you put a gun to my head it’s not about robbing me, it’s about trying to kill me,” said Anis Cherradi, 26, owner of Don’s Deli. “I was defending my life.”
His brother was shot in a robbery recently:
“Look at my brother. They shot him first and asked questions later. I know what the outcome could be if they come to rob you. Even if you let them rob you, there is a big chance they will shoot at you anyway. I have a family and kids. I am not going to let something like that happen to me.”“They want to rob you and then they want to shoot you after that. People get sick of that. If you leave it up to the robber, it is not going to go well.”
Both good and bad...
He defended his life...Good
He missed the dirtbags...Bad
Their criminal enterprise will continue...for a while, anyway.
Stay armed...dirtbags abound...stay safe!

Sure can't disagree w/ the guy. You point a gun at me or my family and I would imagine that will to live sure does kick in.

This is becoming more and more common place in Cincinnati. The hands of the city police have been tied 7 years now, citizens are now beginning to understand things a little more.
"Just blame Sixto"
Seems that way. One of the earlier stories had a video where the Hamilton Co prosecutor went on record saying he would never prosecute someone for defending themselves or their business. At least folks down there are getting some "backup" in the form of support for their actions
