It's a shame there was only time to get one of the robbers. Hope they catch all 3.

The dad's awareness level was definitely where it should have been. Glad it turned out well. I love to see the good guys win.

I am well glad it could go the way it did - but as most know, for me, a gun ''somewhere'' is no darned good when it takes an appreciable finite time to get to. So ''strategically'' placed guns will not always cut it.

On the person is way to go and these guys will hopefully go that route now. Kudos to dad - and a clean change of laundry to both
Man takes law into his own hands:
This headline tho yanks my chain badly!!! For heaven's sake - this was self preservation, against law breakers - simple as that - the ''law'' aspect is simply that the law was being broken by BG's - and no way any cops were gonna be able to help. Sorry - mini rant!

I definitely agree, the "PRESS" is once again trying to paint anyone with a gun as "THE" bad guy. They know lots if not most people will only read the headlines and then some will read it wrong.

    Chris,
I completely concure:"Took the law into his own hands" what stupid thing to say. Don't we Take the law into our own hands just be being law abiding citizens?
Good on the Jewler for saving his son and himself.
