    Man shot in leg during attempted Wrightsboro Road home invasion / - Crime Headlines for Augusta, Georgia and the CSRA

    AUGUSTA, Ga. --- Investigators tell News 12 an 18-year-old with a butcher knife was trying to get into a house on the 14 hundred block of Wrightsboro Road.

    Deputies say the homeowner shot the intruder in the left leg with a 12gauge shotgun.

    The teen is recovering at MCG. At this time no charges have been filed.

    I was thinking gunshot wound to leg no biggy til I saw it was a 12 gauge,apparently the guy didn't want to kill the guy just stop him,but a shot to the femur artery and the guy would bleed out before the ambulance got there

    Shot in the leg??? Does he want this guy returning for revenge?
    1 of my rounds may have hit him in the leg, but only after the first 2 from my M1 flipped him out the window
