Home intruder fatally shot at Big Canoe | AccessNorthGa
BIG CANOE - A man was fatally shot Tuesday morning after he reportedly broke into the Big Canoe home of his female business partner.
Dawson County Sheriff's Lt. Tony Wooten said reports indicate that the man brandished a knife after getting into a fight with the woman, and that her husband intervened.
"The husband...observed the physical altercation going on," Wooten said. "At that point the male homeowner fired and fatally wounded the male subject."
The name of the victim has not been released.
Pretty thin on the details, but seems like a good shoot.

The shot (dead or hospitalized) were shot by an acquaintance in two of the instances I've seen recently. I don't mean to insinuate anything is fishy about these scenarios....just raises my curiosity level a bit.

Blood is thicker than water, true...but a crime is a crime, and if you get shot committing that crime
...so be it.
Stay armed...I'm not my brother's keeper...stay safe!

I'm inclined to think if someone was brandishing a knife and threatening anyone of our wives, we'd probably do the same thing...friend or not.
The first time you aren't armed and prepared may be the last time you wished you were.

Saying that the name of the victim has not been released .. Were they talking about the lady that was attacked?
