    Intruders Find More Than They Bargained For

    One man was shot and killed and two others wounded as bullets flew early Wednesday in the 3900 block of Quincy in Kansas City, Missouri. According to media accounts, the shots were fired by an armed home-owner who caught three men trying to break in to his house. The shooting occurred around 12:30 this morning. Police found shell casings at the scene. There were no condition reports available on the wounded parties, but it's said one of them suffered a leg wound.

    Here in the PRC you can't shoot somebody "trying to break into" your home. He's gotta be inside. I'm guess'n that one would be better off "brandishing" a weapon from inside the house (with laser sight attatched perhaps) to warn off the perp rather than let him get inside and then shoot him. The best gun fight is the one that doesn't happen.
