    Armed Clerk Kills Robbery Suspect

For the second time already this week, an armed robbery suspect has been shot and killed by a store clerk. This latest episode happened last night at a convenience store at 27th and Van Brunt in Kansas City. There were two clerks on duty, and no customers, except for the 18 year old would-be bandit, who pulled a gun and went behind the counter, and threatened one of the clerks. The other clerk approached the counter and shot the suspect in the neck. He died later at an area hospital. His name has not been released. Police say the clerk who was armed had a conceal-carry gun permit. It was Kansas City's 100th homicide of the year.

We need about 1,000 more results like these, to convince armed robbers to enter different professions....

Good job by the clerk(s) based of this snippet. Hope all goes well for them.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

It was Kansas City's 100th homicide of the year.
I hate reporting like this. Should read: "It was the fifth time this year a citizen has defended himself against a criminal."

I'm sure this dirt bag wasn't just starting. He probably had several years of experience; but, than again, he was such a good loving son that just had bad friends and was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Too bad the clerk will lose his job over it. 7-11, which is owned by Seven & I Holdings Co. of Japan, are anti-gun, or at least for employees.

The link by the OP said nothing about the store being a 7-11 -- did you see that in a different story?
Anti-gunners seem to believe that if we just pass enough laws, we can have utopia. Unfortunately, utopia is NOT one of our choices.

Good job on the clerks part. One less armed criminal on the street. Hopefully everything works out for the clerk(s).

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- An 18-year-old man was killed Tuesday night in a shooting at a convenience store at 26th Street and Van Brunt Boulevard, police said.

The shooting happened at a 7-Eleven at about 10:30 p.m.

Police said a man was robbing the store at gunpoint when one of the two clerks pulled out his own gun and shot him in the neck.

I'm waiting for the grieving family of the "victim" [that's facetious, folks] to cry to the news media "but he was such a *good* boy..."
