I can imagine the article now:

Limatunes, the pregnant shopper, didn't show a trace of hysteria after the shooting, according to her husband.

"She was screaming at him, 'I'm pregnant, I'm pregnant! Don't mess with Mama Bear!'" said JD. "She didn't know if the guy was going to grab her but the bad guy, I guess, had a gun because she said he came towards her and she calmly placed two to his center-of-mass and one to his head. She said, 'The threat was still present 'til after the third shot, but after that I didn't need to empty the magazine.'"

Police commended Lima on her situational awareness and accurate shooting.

Pretty sure Casselberry has the more crime than all of Seminole County Florida. I would imagine they have some sort of crime there almost daily. I would never shop there.

Unfortunately I have some family that work there. Luckily they weren't there at the time.

That store is in a very well traveled main road and I'm sure all sorts of crazies in and out at all times of the day.

I was referring to this particular case where she was defenseless. And I dont have issues, I have a subscription.

In all seriousness tho, I am not saying I would commit "overkill" so to speak, nor am I condoning it. I just wonder sometimes. I've been told that I am a very level headed guy. I have learned the hard way that take just about any kind of abuse, both physical or mental/emotional without losing control of myself.

But you never know just how you will react until it actually happens. You can make predictions, train for the worst, practice as much as you can, but in the end there are no guarantees. You may learn more about yourself in a 30 second hold-up than you have your entire life.
We are only as vulnerable as we are naive.
