Now that's cool. Smart thinking by the clerk (or Mr. Ninja to us *grin*) to take a pic with the cell phone.
They said 6 black belts or something so - seems he was proficient and if against a knife then he definitely was in charge!
Camera phone was a nice touch

Good thing the guy didn't have an accomplice with a gun or a gun himself.
They could have done that seen from Indian Jones for the security camera.
i dont know the guy looked like a fool in the replay
If the bg had even a .22 short that dude would be in big trouble.
"And everybody was kung fu fighting,,,,those cats were fast as lightening.
The clerk did good. Most criminals are not expecting a victim to respond like that.
Listen, Think and React.....Nuff Said.....
Well, he did what he had to with the means he had to stay alive.
Good for him!

It's good it all worked out. I'm with Bud, He did look funny. Though, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of those kicks, no matter how funny it looks.

Just my opinion...take it for what it's worth or toss it out the window.
I watched the vid about 9 times.
I'm happy that this event turned out OK.
Luckily for the store clerk the robber seemed amateurish.
It is admirable that the store clerk had martial arts training & now he needs to better transfer and shift his "Arts" knowledge & skill into the real world of real bad guys.
Then he'll be much better equipped to handle even badder future bad guys.
Hopefully, next time he will know that as soon as a real threat is identified as a potential deadly threat then less posturing & more instantaneous and immediate action/reaction would be desirable. And until said threat no longer is one.
He left himself quite wide open for enough time that the situation could have easily reversed itself.
I am always happy when the Good Guys win.
This could have ended lots worse & the story could have had a different ending.
That being said I would rather that any GG take action for Self Defense than do a Sheeple Walk into the back room for an execution style story ending.
So...I say: "Kudos & Happy The Clerk Will Get To Welcome In The New Year."
Always nice to see the BG eat the pavement when the clerk kicks him in the back and getting chased away with his tail b/w his legs. Good for the clerk to defend what he does an honest living earning. By the way, that is one strange last name for the BG.
I think this is the first use of a cell phone with a camera being put to good use...glad the clerk responded the way he did. Might've been what saved him from getting stabbed/cut...certainly better than just giving up.
