Bad, in so many ways: 13-year-old runaway in custody after Oak Cliff slaying

13-year-old runaway in custody after Oak Cliff slaying | News for Dallas, Texas | Dallas Morning News | Dallas-Fort Worth Crime News | Dallas-Fort Worth News

A 13-year-old boy facing a charge of murder may have acted in self-defense when he killed a man who tried to steal drugs from him, Dallas police say.
Um, I'm thinking since he was selling drugs that the self defense option is off the table.

"I do believe [Mr. Cobbs'] intent on this night was initially to purchase narcotics," homicide Lt. Craig Miller said Thursday
    Ya' think?

We are loosing our country to not only rogue politicians (from both sides of the isle) but also thugs who get younger and younger, and more brazen.

This is commonly referred to as a "victimless crime".

Well it appears the police got this right. Now let's hope the bleeding heart politicians and court system do, and puts him away for life.

I've seen some pretty scary looking 13 year-olds...big, mean, and 'worldly wise' 13 year-olds.
If you do the illegal crime, you should be prepared to do the time.
Selling drugs should make the murder a crime, a business crime, but still a crime.

Adult crime? Prosecute him as an adult.

I guess it's all relative, I mean I can believe 13 yr olds dealing to their peers and such, but usually it's the older fellas dealing to the younger... lol

I completely agree though, he wants to be a big boy thug, he gets the big boy sentence
