TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa homeowner is hospitalized after he is shot during a home invasion.

The incident happened in the 4000 block of West 56th Street around 11:30 p.m.

Police say a suspect kicked in the front door of a home and robbed a man and his wife. They say the suspect then shot the victim and drove off.

Police officers were working another criminal case near the scene and spotted the suspect's car. They tracked down the car to another home. That is where they arrested one person.

Tulsa Police say a second arrest is possible.

The victim has not been identified, but police say the victim is in stable condition at a Tulsa hospital

"If you do what they say, you will not get hurt"
    Sure !!!
The woman was lucky not to have been shot too.
Fortunately, it looks like the wounds were not too bad.
    Usually they don't leave witnesses.
And we are going to pay the room and board for that POS for many years.

Just another reason to stay armed, and be ready to use it. I can assure you a blast of 00 buck will send them out faster than they came in!

In todays day and age I actually think these thugs get a kick out of just shooting people for the he## of it.I can see no reason to shoot him except to inflict pain or maybe prevent him from following if he shot him in the leg. This is why I carry in my house,I never am anywhere I do not have a gun within arms reach.

Both Husband and wife should have had a gun on their person. Always carry, it may save your life or the life of your loved one.

Some of us were talking in the lunch room at work today about the degree to which the value of a human life has shrunk in the last 50 years. The numbers of people who'll just whip out a gun and cap another person over an issue that does not warrent gunfire is just astounding. Stay alert.

I've heard it said that the violent video games desensitize the youth and they can't separate real from fiction. Solution: Ban violent video games.
