Why did the store leave these weapons in simple glass cases? 2 minutes to steal all these guns. A bit better physical security may have given cops time to respond to any alarm (was there one?). I think this store is irresponsible.

The video isn't exactly useful to identify the burglars.

Most gun stores do not take the guns out of display cases at night, even with an alarm they were in and out in 2 minutes which is a lot less time than the police usually respond unless they happen to be close by.

I would be willing to bet there will be an investigation of the store owners and employees also, at least for negligence. Let's see what happens when ATF gets involved.

Watch out GA!! Stay armed and aware!!

I doubt anything will happen to the store owner/managers.

When we had a local gun store, it was burgled twice, that I know of. The one time, they got alot of weapons, the other they got 1 broken handgun that was in for repairs, but there was no working video system.

I don't understand gun stores that DO NOT go through the extra security measures to protect not only their merchandise, but also the PUBLIC!

Be cautious of FTF transactions and 'bargain' gun deals also for a while.

Holding the gun shop responsible for crimes committed with any of the weapons taken would be like holding one of us responsible for a crime committed with a gun take from a 'break-in' from one of our homes.

Forget the talk about holding the gun shop responsible and talk about increasing the penalty for the crime 100x...then we would be getting somewhere.
Break into a gun shop, get 40 years...sounds fine to me. You're responsible for a murder committed with a gun you stole and sold...the death penalty.

Ted Nugent says that dead offenders are much better than repeat offenders.
    I agree with him.

Maybe it's just me...but we need to start making crime a very dangerous and costly occupation.

Stay armed...put the blame in the right place...stay safe!

    Very well said !!!
Let's put the blame, and the punishment, where it belongs.
