Man is Shot Outside of an Ark-La-Tex Wal-Mart

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - KSLA News 12 has learned that a dispute outside of an Ark-La-Tex Wal-Mart ended with a man shot.

J.R. Wilson, the Police Chief in Hope, Arkansas, confirms to KSLA News 12 that two men were involved.

He says that Rod Cole was in the parking lot after coming out of the store when Jeff Lee approached him.

According to police, Lee hit Cole with a club. That's when Cole allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Lee in the stomach.

Police believe that Cole is dating Lee's estranged wife.

Oh, and maybe Mr. Lee will learn not to bring a club to a gun fight. Good for Mr. Cole on this one. Well I guess.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

That's why we send newbie CCW'ers to Wally World... if they survive the trip they're good to go!

Everyone is pointing out the good sides, but perhaps mr cole wouldn't be in that situation to begin with if he was boinkin someone elses wife. I'm not saying it's his fault, but he did kinda put himself in that situation.

    Just a thought...

Uh...maybe he didn't even know...and you are kinda saying that he has some responsibility (fault?) by putting himself in this situation.

The real question is is the level of force justified? If someone has a bat/stick/whatever...am I justified to shoot them? Can I run away...or back into Wally World? How about HTH? Be interesting to see the video...
