Signs of the times, so sad, keep yourself armed. My gut says it'll be getting worse.

Going to an ATM...you expect it.
    In church?
    Shopping in the mall?
    Buying toys?
    Sitting in your own home?
    Getting gas?
    Sitting on your porch?
    In a doctor's office?
    At a daycare center?

It is a sign of the times.

    Stay armed...any time/any place...stay safe!

Fox just reported this as a possible gang related shooting? They just interviewed a witness by phone. Still developing.

The socio-economic distinctions between "first" and "third" worlds are blurring faster than I thought they might. Funny how a hungry belly, empty wallet and uncertain future drives insanity.

Today is BuyAmmo day. Every day is BuyAmmo day. Ain't it the truth.

From the AP story: "I think the obvious question everyone has is who takes loaded weapons into a Toys 'R' Us?" he (Palm Desert Councilman Jim Ferguson) said. "I doubt it was the casual holiday shopper."

Raise your hand if you are a casual holiday shopper who would take a loaded weapon into a Toys 'R' Us. All sorts of debilitating rhetoric in this elected official's question... incidentally, stories like this remind me of why I legally carry everywhere possible [and why I'd never move to Kalifornia, barring Divine Intervention].

...Even in a 'safe' place like Toys 'R' Us. Stay alert and stay safe.

, assuming I'd even be shopping amongst the unwashed on such a day. A little pre-planning (like purchasing all gift-type items prior to end of Sept) goes a loooooong way to avoid such insanity.

This is one of the reasons I love this site so much. I just saw the article and saw the part that read "who carries a gun into Toys R Us" and I immediately came here to post the link and berate the report for asking such a stupid question, and found a two page thread already! A better question would be who WOULDN'T carry a gun in a public place, legally. The very situation in the article itself is a reason to carry to defend oneself and loved ones.
