yeah. Licensed for CCW, stops an assault/robbery and then says for the businesses go get together so he will not have to carry.

    Makes no sense to me.

What a seemingly perverse state of affairs!!
Despite the impulse to fight back, law enforcement officials caution victims against resisting robbers.
Sorry - this pi$$es me off - how on earth is a guy supposed to know that ''just complying'' will guarantee his safety - at the end of possible lethal threat?? Too many good guys have had lead death warrants.

LEO's - your comments welcome on this one.

It is an absurd assumption that just doesn't hold to reality.

I wonder what all those clerks are thinking just before they get murdered "Just be a good witness" or 'Don't resist and I won't get hurt" " I can just reason with him" " Good thing I didn't contribute to the violence"
Monsters like Gary Gillmore count(ed) on that type of cooperation.

That Police Chiefs still spout that drivel is criminal in itself.
They know better. Shame on those PCs that do. Good for those that encourage a ppro-active defense. (none come to mind at the moment)
