    Naked Man Tasered by Cop

Police Officer Attacked After Taser Fails to Stop Criminal Video Clip | LearnAboutGuns.com*

A naked man was attempting to break in to a daycare center, and the police were called. A police officer arrives, and uses her Taser to subdue to the man. After a couple shocks from the Taser, the naked man is able to get up and tackle the cop, almost grabbing her gun. Luckily, additional cops soon showed up and were able to arrest the man. As Iíve said before, there is no substitute for a gun.

She should have snatched his "gun"out of it's socket.

Of course, her backdrop is a daycare full of children.
    Not good.

You move until you have a backdrop conducive to the shot. Looks like she "forgot" some of her training and it almost cost her. Glad things worked out and he was subdued.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

The cop can't win in a situation like this. The guy is obviously not armed but drugged out of his mind. A collapsible baton would be my weapon of choice in a situation like that. "use of deadly force", while probably appropriate, could get the cop into trouble here.

I agree it's a bad situation. I also pray to God that if I ever get in a bind and need the po po, she isn't the "help" that arrives. Another 30 seconds and she'd have been cooked. They might entertain moving her to dispatch or janitorial staff....

At the point where he comes toward her, simply drawing, rotating to get a clean backstop, and firm commands would have been a good start. There was a clear disproportion of size and force should she not draw, and it played out. Only the approaching sound of sirens kept him from doing her in. I feel bad for her to a point, but she applied for the job, obviously was not in peak physical condition, obviously was not following training, and obviously did not have the survival mindset to get herself out of the predicament she was in.

Yep, grab his "gun" and take off runnin' toward the police car, He'd follow......
